I.B.E.W. Local Union # 164 Holds Golf Outing for our Benefit

On Monday, September 15th at 1:00pm, the I.B.E.W. Local Union 164 Retirees Association will host a Charity Golf Outing to benefit Bold Brave Courageous at the Valley Brook Golf Club in Rivervale, New Jersey.

The golf outing will be followed by a buffet dinner where prizes for Low Score, Long Drive (under 50, over 50), Closest to the Pin, and a 50/50 Raffle Drawing will be awarded.

The purpose of Bold Brave Courageous is to offer comfort items to injured Military Personnel who have returned from Afghanistan and Iraq. These items include supplemental clothing, toiletries, and entertainment devices such as CDs, CD players, DVDs, books, and games. We package these "comfort items" up in rolling suitcases, then deliver these suitcases to the injured personnel who are recovering in our Nations military hospitals.

Each and every one of the suitcases is delivered directly to the injured servicemen and women of our country by caring volunteers that are not only offering them the items contained in the suitcase, but also a thank you and an acknowledgement of their service and their sacrifice.
